Don't assume
I do not enjoy being responsible for living up to other people’s expectations. We all tend to be selfish when it comes to our emotions and how they might make other people feel, but I for one have no patients for people who become mad at me for failing to live up to their idea of who I should be, or where my priorities should lay. If I am not paying enough attention to you, I am sorry. But I really have no obligation to pay any attention to you at all. I talk to, hang out with, get close to, and just generally involve in my life only those people whom, at the time, I wish to associate with. Be that out of amusement, pity, love, or whatever. Friendships are the product of convenience, situation, and pleasure. Please don’t make them into work and obligation, filled with ultimatums and secret meanings.

Long beautiful haaaaair!
I need a hair cut; some might say I need one badly. I can't ever see because I have hair in my eyes, it’s always in my ears, and it runs down the back of my shirts and makes me itch. The problem is I am terrified of hair cuts. They always make me look like a goomba reject. Non-reversible processes like that make me curl up into a little ball and shake (so I guess tattoos are out of the question). So I am left at a crossroads: should I get a hair cut and risk looking like a star trek alien villain? Or should I just keep my overly shaggy hair that I know is silly looking. Either way leads to madness, I am sure.

Yay, this post didn't get deleted!
Ok, time to try posting again after my last failed attempt. So anyway, yesterday was a lot of fun, me and Matt had a fun time running around in Springfield yesterday. He bought lots of nice things for his computer and then we went down to Branson and hung out with all those peoples. As many of you know I am in a band with them known as Suckerpunch. Well glory of all glories, we now have a website! suckerpunchband.blogspot.com Go there and you can see some pretty pictures and read about me being called gay....a lot. Apparently our gig is still on for the 19th or something, so hopefully we will really have band practice like planned later today. Cause we need it....a lot. But its all great fun so whose to complain. Another interesting tidbit about mine and Matt's day. We decided that we wanted some pizza for lunch. An easy enough task one might think. So we looked around for a good place and saw a sign for Papa Murphy's that advertised a large pizza with plenty 'o toppings for only 9 bucks. So we stopped in and ordered a really tasty sounding pizza, waited for a bit and they gave it to us....uncooked. Apparently we had stopped at a "bake at home" pizza place. Now. Why does this exist? And more importantly, why do they not tell you that they don't bake it for you!?! There was not one sign in that place that said bake at home. We expected a nice fresh and most importantly HOT pizza. So we went back to my house and cooked it and it was very tasty to give them some credit. So me and Matt apparently are failures at getting pizza. Who knew that was even possible?? Oh well, thats about all for now, check out the band site which will be revised significantly very soon, (Andy posted the pics without compressing them so they are freakin HUGE and I need to fix it) and post somethin in the Chatterbox here while you're at it. Out.
I'm the wind Masa!
I love the feeling of the wind against my face and body. I love to stand in an open field on a blustery day and close my eyes. It feels as if I am flying, or perhaps falling. Either way, it feels as if I have left that mundane ground beneath me, up and onwards, to something better. Or maybe worse. Either way, a change. And I thrive on change.

Anger!!!
So mad, whole post. Deleted. Hit back button accidentily and stupid internet explorer deleted whole thing. Anger anger anger!!! sigh. Ok, I'll sum up the whole big paragraph I had. Fun time with Matt had today. Band website: suckerpunchband.blogspot.com. Got pizza, but did a bad job doing it. Thats it. I'll actually post more when I don't hate the internet
Har har
Do I have to tell the story, of the thousand rainy days since we first met?
Oh you know it's a big enough umbrella, but it's always her that ends up getting wet.
Duh, comics are funny!
I have been pondering this question while I was working on “the project.” What should I call it? Not the title, but the description. The word comic has such a terrible connotations in popular American culture. One says they are drawing a comic, and people instantly assume you are drawing some kiddie politically correct scribble that belongs in the “funny pages.” A slightly more apt word for what I do would be manga, but once that word is inspected, it simply means comic in Japanese, one realizes that it’s the culture difference, not the word itself, that is slightly more inline with my own artistic sensibilities. I suppose graphic novel could fit, but that just seem so pretentious to me. So I am at a loss as to what to call it. I suppose my “project” will have to do for now.

Good Ol' Smash Bros.
Andy just purchased a Game Cube and we've been playing the ever-entertaining Smash Bros. Ahhh, it feels good. Ok, I'm very bored now. We were going to go see Pirates of The Carribean again, but everyone seems to think they don't want to do it tonight. Blah. I was all in the mood for some sweet pirate action. Oh well. I just saw the demo video for Rebel Strike: Rogue Squadron III and it looks sweet! Mmmmm, multiplayer....goood. Ok. Still bored. Ian has informed me that Keenspace is back up. They provide free webhosting and services to webcomic artist, so Ian has informed me that he's gonna make me do something. Not fair at all. I'm supposed to be the one making him do thing. Ah Andy's playing the new Zelda game now. Crappier graphics, but still cool. I must steal from him.... ok, thats all for now.
I have to get up in four hours. Damnit. I have a feeling that my “project” is going well. But I am nowhere near done. I only do a little bit each day, but I try to wait for it to come to me, rather than force it. My best writing is always when I write as an outlet, when I just write and don’t worry about what I am saying. Free writing. If I try to think about what I want to say, it just feels so forced and sterile. So the going is slow, but steady. I want to start drawing, but I am determined to do this right. To actually finish. To accomplish something. Wouldn’t that be novel?

I love these things
Random tests online are fun. Suprise suprise, I'm
How can I label you?
Never woulda guessed huh? Well, lots of happy fun painting today. Yippee... I've heard about this Geocaching thing that Ian talked about, sounds great. Wish I had GPS. The idea of going on a treasure hunt that actually has rewards is just way too cool. Well nothing else has gone on today, so I'll be back later with more hopefully.
Booty Plundering!
Today I put on my pirate hat and went treasure hunting! My fierce crew and I boarded our stalwart vessel and plundered booty upon the high seas. Okay, so perhaps my stalwart vessel was actually a very unstalwart Buick Park Avenue. And the high seas were parks around the town. I had my first experience with Geocaching this morning with Brian and Alex, and let me tell you, it’s tons of fun. Remember that time when you were ten, and you and your friends would go tearing through the woods out back on a grand quest to find a dragon, or perhaps a space ship? Or maybe a vampiric hobo? Well it's like that, only the prize at the end of the quest is actually there! In the form of a little Tupperware container filled with trinkets! We found four of the five caches we were looking for today, most of them in places I have been many times before, usually out of site under a log, or attached via magnets to a chain link fence. Alex did most of the finding, I just manned the GPS device (And felt a lot like I was in an episode of star trek with a tricorder while I was doing it. Only without the random beeping sound effects), but the sense of accomplishment you feel when you finally find some tiny cache after following the arrow on your GPS across town is amazing. I intend to do more of this booty seeking once I quit work. And I recommend Geocaching to anyone with a GPS.

My throat hurts
Amazingly enough, my band actually practiced. Yay! We even wrote a new song on the spot called: I keep Satan in my linen closet. The words are: I keep Satan in my linen closet. Special huh? But don't think we're some crazy devil worshiping band, cause the song that made my throat hurt was in fact Pressing On by Relient K, a christian band. So there. Anyway, check them out cause they are really good. Especially that song, very fun, but painful to sing.
I love practicing with my band, I just wish we did it more often. All together I say we practice about once a month. Not nearly enough to really have any talent. However, despite that we once again have a gig. I don't know how or why we keep getting these things since we don't know anything well enough to really play live, but who cares. Its punk rock! Waahh!! yeah... Anyway, so we're apparently playing on the 19th of August, which gives us very little time to put together a show, but it should be fun anyway. By the way, the current name of our band for anyone interested (which I'm sure is no one) is Suckerpunch. If you wanna see the site for our band's previous incarnation, Pesthole, head over to our old site Its way out of date but there are still some pretty pictures and all.
Ok, I just checked out the Relient K site and it doesn't actually say they're a christian band, just "...influenced by our Christian beliefs..." Oh well, close enough. Not sure why I'm making that point actually... Anyway, not much else to tell today, I'll be back tomorrow with more wonderfully random information. Out.
Soul Caliber Fun
Well it turns out that I am
Which Soul Calibur character are you?
Who knew? I find it interesting that mine and Ian's alter-egos are small asian women. Perhaps this says something about ourselves....though I have no idea what.
So why won't the freakin chatterbox let me post. I do not understand it. It frightens and confuses me. Ian should fix immediately. Although its probably my fault somehow. I am very impressed with Ian's little status box for his project. For those of you that don't know Ian, this shows quite a bit of determination and might lead to him not getting bored of this one. Maybe. But thats where I come in! I get to poke him repeatedly if he doesnt keep on schedule. Or at least I say I do. Anyway, nothing has gone on today so far, so I'll leave it at this for now.
Edit: Wow! Who knew you could have titles on posts! Wheeee!
I am not sure whether I should be worried or not that my Soul Calibur 2 alter ego has breasts as large as nuclear submarines, and about as shapely. Hmm.
Which Soul Calibur character are you?
The official status box for my little project should be up now, temporarily on the side bar. I think that I am going to throw up some about the author pages eventually, but for now, there it is. Check it to see how I am doing creating this beast, and if it hasn't been updated for a while, fire off an email and bug me about it.
Role call! If you read this, post your name in the chatta box and say hi (What? It's not a counter. I am not neurotic... Lookit! A naked Digimon! *Scampers away*).
