When Flying Monkeys Attack...

Hey, I'm back at it again. I actually got a comment on the last post (thanks Ruby!) so it inspired me to ramble on about more meaningless things. So school sucks. What else can I say. Thats the way it is. You spend days freaking out about a stupid assignment only to turn it in and have your crazy french film teacher tell you that it wasn't even approached from the right standpoint and it doesn't complete the assignment. Sigh.... Why am I a film major again? I can't make films, they require thought and creative work. Thats just not fair. As much as I love creative work in classes, and don't get me wrong, I really like the idea of exploring the creative elements of ourselves, but I really hate having a graded ASSIGNMENT to reflect on my inner self. Creativity is personal. It shouldn't be something you are forced into to fulfill requirements of some assignment. Once again we see that they should orginize the world only with my express supervision. In a creative class, you should be given basic instruction in techinques, methods, etc. and then turned loose with some ideas to create something on our own. I have plenty of my own ideas, that I would love to explore in my film class, but I'm held back doing these stupid, and ultimately pointless assignments. That or maybe I just don't like doing work...

But anyway, its weekend now. Wheee! I of course have lots of work, but somehow the weekend makes everything more approachable. I was planning on going home to visit my Mom on her birthday tomorrow, (Happy Birthday Mom!) but unfortunately I have training for workstudy that I can't get out of. Oh well, maybe next week.
Hmmm, my room is getting pretty dirty. This is expected when you have a ginormous pile of dirty clothes laying on the floor only hinting at the even larger number of dirty clothes stashed in my closet and elsewhere. I should really do laundry. A lot of laundry. Also when you have an all out cracker-battle. That tends to create a few crumbs here and there...and everywhere else. Ok, so my room might be filled with crackers. So what?! I won't have you people oppressing me with your cleanliness!! I rebel against your fascist ideas of hygiene!
