I AR CREATIV MONKIY
In response to the post below, I will talk about my screenplay that I am not doing because I am writing this. YOU ARE TAKING AWAY FROM MY EDUCATION! Anyway, I agree. There is nothing magical about creativity. Just now, I wrote a scene which involves two characters sitting down and having lunch while one of them tries to give the other fluffy frog slippers.
Why? Does this advance the plot? Develop the characters? No. It is there because it fills space, is kinda funny, and is the first thing I though of. Were this, by some wild twist of probability to actually become a movie, people would ask, "What is this saying about the characters? What does this represent, artistically?" The answer of course is that it represents the artists laziness in not coming up with a real scene. A scene that would no doubt involve clever dialogue, focus on weighty issues, and create an intricate web of character interaction and plot advancement.
Instead there are frog slippers. So there.
On a completely unreated note, I think this screenplay may be very silly and pointless. But hey, who's really to blame for this? The answer is sexual content in video games. I can't focus with all of these Wii's flying around.
(Wii? As in Wiiwii? Get it?)
